Purpose
Rotary Action Group for Endangered Species was formed for the purpose of empowering members of the Rotary Family worldwide to take actions to sustain and protect Endangered Species. It provides informational resources to share information with clubs and communities about the plight of Endangered Species and to be a focal point for its members.
The 4-Way Test
How does the Rotary “4-Way Test” relate to the preservation of Endangered Species?
- Is it the truth? Is there science and information concerning the endangerment of animals, plants, and habitats to help us help them?
- Is it fair to all concerned? What actions can we take for the equality and future of endangered animals, plants, and habitats that will ensure all of us thrive and enjoy life together?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Can we build back endangered species and habitats, and education about them throughout the world?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Can we live on this earth and thrive in harmony together?
Action Model
Our action model: Identify leaders within the Rotary world, assist them in initiating endangered species projects that are meaningful to THEM, help where we can, and acknowledge and publicize their awesome work.

Here are some places you can help:
- Provide content for the website
- Create a Forum for your specific Endangered Species interest
- Add events to the Global Events Calendar
- Work with the members to support communication with Rotarians who have Endangered Species projects
- Contribute to the Newsletter — submit an article or photo, serve as Newsletter Editor, or volunteer as a member of the Editorial Committee
- Post to social media using Facebook
- Recruit new members
- Lead or participate in Local or Regional Forums
- Join the Education Team to help develop and present engaging and fun materials and presentations!
